Show me something

On Fridays at work, some of us in the office have created the Friday video contest, in which we submit videos from around the internet and vote on the best. There is always a theme of some kind, last week it was "grooviest music video from the 70s or 80s." The criteria for judging isn't always clear, either, but that's okay because the winner gets nothing except a) pride in winning and b) the assignment to run next week's contest.

Last week I should've won, because I submitted this hilarious Hall and Oates video that was by far the weirdest thing in the contest. Surreal, fer shure. Watch it . . . it's crazy at the end. You can't look away.

About Me

  • I'm thirty & living in Amish Country, PA. I'm a marketing writer for a non-profit.
  • I'm Mennonite, but not in a head-covered, dress-wearing kind of way. More in a hippy-liberal, peace-loving kind of way.
  • I like books, discussing, thinking, my church, friends, and my family.
  • I'm good at gift-giving, shopping, and writing.
  • I'm bad at meeting new people, cleaning my car, and keeping my house warm.
  • I'm annoyed by people who wear shorts in the winter, create excessive drama, don't recycle, or talk about how fat they are.
