February made me shiver
On Tuesday I was joking about the GIANT APOCALYPTIC SNOWSTORM, but good grief. The world is a sheet of ice! Or at least all the pavement in Lancaster County.
Yesterday was a snow day (the office actually closed) and today was just sliding and packed snow. The trip through the city was like off-roading, what with the 6-inch snow pack. Tonight I spent my time chipping at the ice pack on my sidewalk. I managed to create an 8-inch-wide path through the drifts by working in fifteen minute increments and dispersing wide swaths of ice melt. I'm going to be sore tomorrow.
Buying milk on Tuesday was not a bad idea.
