Leaving on a Jet Plane
Thanksgiving in the Boston area. Year 21.
I’m not sure what it would be like to NOT have Thanksgiving with my mom’s family in New England. My brother married a Canadian, which was a smart move, because her family doesn’t have Thanksgiving in November and so he never has to miss this, either.
I’m particularly worried about the blog contest, though. When I signed up for this thing, I knew Thanksgiving would be a problem. Normally I don’t touch a computer for most of the week, and I certainly don’t blog. That will need to change.
At 1 PM, I’ll be leaving to drive south to Baltimore to hop my plane to Logan.
