What's an example of a Mennonite ethical dilemma?*

I really didn't intend to write this many posts about heat (or lack thereof), but somehow my blog is turning into a support group for people who aren't turning their heat on until November 1.

And, now that Mike has caved, they're all related to me, at least distantly.

We are a hearty bunch, I must say. (Or perhaps just really cheap).

My feet are numb.

*The title of this post is a joke. You can fill in your own punchlines. Some examples: free beer or free dance lessons.

About Me

  • I'm thirty & living in Amish Country, PA. I'm a marketing writer for a non-profit.
  • I'm Mennonite, but not in a head-covered, dress-wearing kind of way. More in a hippy-liberal, peace-loving kind of way.
  • I like books, discussing, thinking, my church, friends, and my family.
  • I'm good at gift-giving, shopping, and writing.
  • I'm bad at meeting new people, cleaning my car, and keeping my house warm.
  • I'm annoyed by people who wear shorts in the winter, create excessive drama, don't recycle, or talk about how fat they are.
