Jumbo Monkeys

Today at work I overheard the new guy (started August 30) telling the very-new girl (started last Tuesday) about the tailgate party we'll be having on Friday.

"I don't get it," she said. "Why are we having a tailgate party?"

"I don't know. Just because."

It's funny, because a few weeks ago the new guy probably would've been asking why. And now he just accepts it. We'll be having a tailgate party on Friday. For no reason, other than someone had the idea that we should. Food and video games.

It doesn't take long to just start embracing all of this, really.
