My milkshake
Last night I went to another fair. Unlike the Etown Fair, there were no rides. It was exclusively a farm fair, which means food booths and produce and livestock and tractors and LOTS of people.
I ate ice cream, a few french fries, and part of a funnel cake for dinner. Then walked around and saw some people I knew. I watched the Ironman competition: the hauling of milkcans (2, at 90 lbs. each) and haybales to see who is the strongest man. One man took off his shirt, which seemed a bit unnecessary, when it's 50 degrees. And if you're going to take off your shirt, you'd better have something to back that up. He couldn't even finish the course with his milkcans.
Tourists to our country always go to NYC or to California. But really, if you don't hit up a farm fair, you're missing out.
