Sharing Grievances

Two things that annoy me (and there are many more, but I'll refrain):

Over the years, there have been a few times when I've dropped my credit card on the ground and not seen it immediately. Obviously this is bad, and irresponsible, etc. But why is it that whenever someone sees the card, they're all like "who's card is this?" "Someone's credit card is ON THE GROUND." "is this your card?" . . . all in a scolding, angry tone.

Dude, chill. Yes, it's mine, thanks for pointing it out. I'll pick it up now.

And wRItiNg lIkE tHiS. i CaN bArEly eVen dO iT, iT'S sO aNnoyIng. WHY RANDOM CAPITALS? Who decided this was acceptable in any way? It's hardly even legible.

Now I've made myself angry.

What annoys you?

About Me

  • I'm thirty & living in Amish Country, PA. I'm a marketing writer for a non-profit.
  • I'm Mennonite, but not in a head-covered, dress-wearing kind of way. More in a hippy-liberal, peace-loving kind of way.
  • I like books, discussing, thinking, my church, friends, and my family.
  • I'm good at gift-giving, shopping, and writing.
  • I'm bad at meeting new people, cleaning my car, and keeping my house warm.
  • I'm annoyed by people who wear shorts in the winter, create excessive drama, don't recycle, or talk about how fat they are.
